Ingredients
- 200g dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
- 100g butter, plus extra for greasing
- 3 large eggs
- 3 egg yolks
- 100g caster sugar
- 50g plain flour
- Cocoa powder for dusting
- Vanilla ice cream to serve
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Grease 4 ramekins with butter and dust with cocoa powder.
- Melt chocolate and butter together in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, stirring until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, egg yolks, and sugar until thick and pale.
- Sift in the flour and gently fold until just incorporated.
- Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins.
- Bake for 12 minutes until the edges are firm but the center still jiggles slightly.
- Let cool for 1 minute, then carefully invert onto plates. Serve immediately with vanilla ice cream.
